Will you become our next DevOps Engineer?

Who is Co-libry?

Co-libry is an international start-up that has been active for more than 5 years in the real estate market. By making a real-estate portal as data-driven as possible, we are able to achieve our goal, to personalize the customer journey as much as possible. Recently, we extended our focus to other kinds of portals.

We offer data services to our business customers. Our customers and their users provide us with data through REST APIs. This data is analyzed and stored in an asynchronous way after which it is retrieved through REST APIs.

We have a flat hierarchy where everybody’s voice is equal and equally heard. Our young and flexible team is always ready to achieve the next goal and capture the opportunities. Even though we are a remote team, the team-spirit is never far.

Your role & expectations

You get the role of DevOps engineer and work closely with our data scientist and web developer to design, build, test, and maintain data management systems and the connected web services. Make sure our data scientist doesn’t go too wild and collaborate to bring his models to production. You will provide monitoring and insights about both the infrastructure and the usage of the services.

We appreciate you to have some knowledge about the technologies of our stack, through education or experience:

  • Infrastructure: Google Compute Engine. We work with managed services to limit the operations effort from our side and focus more on the development side.
  • Data capture: Snowplow
  • Data storage: BigQuery and ElasticSearch
  • Data processing: App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, DataProc, Data Flow
  • Messaging: Pub/Sub and REST
  • Web services: Flask on App Engine, REST, OpenAPI
  • Programming language: Python all over the place
Co-libry expects at least basic experience as DevOps engineer for companies or projects in SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or data processing. We search for team-player who can also work autonomously and takes responsibility for his link in the chain. Problem-solving is one of your strengths and you will never be afraid to give or receive constructive feedback.

What we offer

We offer you a fun experience with our young and dynamic team. You will be given the resources you desire to fully develop your skills. You will help shape the future of Co-libry. In addition, we offer you flexibility in a lot of ways with a competitive salary.
